It’s all happening
I’m leaving in a matter of hours. Soon I will have fascinating things to write about–although I can’t say when I’ll have internet access again. Funny, but it is Hindi that comes to mind: kabhii na kabhii, kahiin na kahiin. Some time or other, somewhere or other. We’ll talk again.
(One day in Hindi class we tried to create the vaguest possible sentence, since there are lots of ways to decrease the certainty of what you’re saying. It reminded me of a day in French class when we tried to create the most negative possible sentence, using all of the various negation words: rien, jamais, personne, things like that. Sapir-Whorf at work or just a silly exercise? To that I say, kuchh na kuchh: something or other.)
